The KET Foundation continues to implement projects aimed at supporting children and developing their general and musical education, creating new opportunities for young talents in the regions. On the eve of the New Year, as part of a charitable initiative, the Foundation presented the arts school in Panik village with musical instruments—a kanon crafted by master Martin Oganesyan, as well as violins and dhols (drums) for children of different ages. Thanks to the new instruments, the school will be able to expand its curriculum, and children will have the opportunity to engage more deeply with Armenian folk music—preserving and developing national traditions—while also studying classical musical heritage.
Parents and teachers of the arts school expressed their sincere gratitude to the Foundation for its attention to the children of Panik. This pre-New Year gift is not only material support for the school, but also an investment in the children’s future. As the school’s director noted, initiatives like these create equal educational opportunities for children in rural areas, instill confidence in them, and affirm that their talent matters and is needed.
The Foundation believes that music nurtures, inspires, and opens new horizons, and that each such project is a step toward discovering and developing talent—and that every new instrument can become the beginning of another meaningful journey.
